If you are taking regular medication it might not be necessary for you to see the doctor every time you need a repeat prescription.
Repeat prescriptions can be requested by submitting your repeat medication slip at reception or online via email or via My Health Online.
If you wish to have your prescription returned by post, please remember to let us have a stamped, addressed envelope allowing 7 days for return.
Alternatively you can make arrangements with a local pharmacy for pick-up and delivery.
48 Hours notice (not including weekends or Bank Holidays) is required for repeat prescriptions to be issued.
Please note that no requests for prescriptions will be taken via telephone to minimise the chance of error.
If any items are not due for repeat the request will be reviewed by a clinician. We will regularly review your medication either over the telephone or in person.
You may be asked to have blood tests or an appointment with the nurse prior to your medication review dependent upon your chronic medical condition or the medications you are on.
